Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is the Romanian actor and TV host. She is best known for her role as the star of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra started her professional career in showbiz at a young age. Her roles included lead characters in TV dramas as young at the age of 16. Her performance as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historical war film) was both critically and highly rated commercially. The Reader is another Oscar nominated movie featuring this actress. Alexandra was involved in a variety of notable national and international projects through the years. These include British biographical film Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French historical mini-series Napoleon as well as other miniseries. In addition, she is juror at each of The Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
